Official card updates annually so that is the only thing you'll need to add. The carry bag is very durable and has an inside pocket that holds small items like dice and chips. The tiles and racks each have a velcro padded protective covering which decreases risk of damage while in transport. Great purchase for beginners or those who want a dedicated travel set.

This set was a gift for my daughter who has gone crazy over mahjong. She loves it. The quality of the tiles is good. The set is complete. The only addition you need is a table mat. I got the red bag because most people in the group where she plays have blue.
