I bought a set of mahjong racks. They were made of hard durable plastic and metal.

When I received the racks I found the shelf to be way to small dorm our standard size tiles. That ment the tiles were falling off with the slightest touch. The racks were also not flat on bottom, which ment that the racks would wobble, and some would turn on the table with a slight touch. Both issues resulted in the tiles falling off, or the hand being revealed. When I requested a return, and since I had opened the box, they were going to charge me a 50% restocking fee. Not worth it to return them. What a rip off!
